Back in Germany we can say that Ebony Villas is a great place to stay! We enjoyed the pool and the private cook. Very nice people and environment!!

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines en février 2012 à la villa Mathieu qui est très bien situé, proche de la piscine, au fond de la propriété, calme et paisible ; le jardin est absolument magnifique, luxuriant de palmiers, aloé vera, bananiers... et singes qui viennent se régaler de fruits ou se courser sur la pelouse !
La villa est entretenue parfaitement, le ménage quotidien, bien aménagée et meublée typiquement local, pas de clim mais nous nous en sommes bien passé malgré la chaleur, la piscine soigneusement vérifiée chaque matin et nettoyée.
Le personnel est un bijou de dévouement : notre cuisinier S.. nous a indiqué les magasins locaux ou acheter au mieux et moins cher, il a fait les plats que nous lui demandions et plus encore il nous a proposé des plats locaux et montré des techniques swahili ; le responsable A.. est dévoué, patient et à l'écoule des clients, il conseille volontiers, je ne peux résumer en quelques mots le plaisir que nous avons eu à partager avec lui ; les jardiniers et N.. sont également toujours souriants et dévoués, le gardien de nuit a toujours un mot sympathique et rassurant ; Trudi notre hote a toujours fait au mieux pour notre séjour avant, pendant et après, MERCI de tout coeur à tous et toutes ! Acuna Matata !

Nous avons séjourné à la villa Sien du 17/02 au 25/02/2012. La villa est absolument magnifique et entièrement meublée et décorée à l Africaine. Parfaitement confortable et très vaste, le personnel la maintient en parfait état de propreté. Le jardin de la résidence est luxuriant, planté d' arbres et plantes tropicaux. La piscine est très agréable : petits et grands peuvent s y baigner et elle est entretenue tous les jours. Le barbecue devant la piscine est appréciable, de même que les bains de soleil ombragés par des parasols en makuti. Dépaysement garanti ! La résidence est clôturée, l entrée est filtrée et un garde de nuit permet de parfaire la sécurité de ce havre de paix. Le chef nous a préparé de très bons plats africains et il est prêt à satisfaire toutes les demandes de ses invités ! Plusieurs petits commerces et la plage sont accessibles à pied. C est très pratique. Un arrêt de matatu se trouve à environ 300 m. La villa jouit d' un emplacement intéressant. Trudi, la propriétaire est très accueillante, renseigne avec plaisir et patience ses locataires. Nous avons été séduits et nous recommandons !

We had an amazing time @ Ebony Villas. We stayed with 6 persons in Villa Sien. The surroundings, maintenance of the garden, etc. were flawless. The employees, including the cook, were always easily approachable and helped us the best they could. The positioning of the complex is ideal, close to the beach, local shops, etc..

We did a safari of 3 days combining Tsavo East with Taita Hills. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time! Our guide Mike was professional and very eager to go and search for scarce wildlife, as lions etc.

Since we are already planning a new trip to Kenya and will be staying @ Ebony Villas, obviously, we very much enjoyed our first holiday. Key words: fascinating, charming and very welcoming!

Thanks mama Trui for the warm-hearted hospitality and the occasional guiding to Fourty Thieves etc.

We'll be back for more, for sure!

Beste Trui,

Alweer voor de 2de keer op rij heb ik me fantastisch geamuseerd op, jullie verblijf in Kenia. Deze keer was voor mij zelfs nog beter dan de eerste keer. Voor de eerste keer na een vakantie heb ik met pijn in het hart moeten afscheid nemen van de crew, de nachtwaker en lokale bevolking.
Ik kom zeker en vast terug op het einde van dit jaar. Ik heb blijkbaar mijn hart voor een stuk verloren in Kenia!

After 2 weeks safari, the friendly staff here gave us a real good holiday feeling. We enjoyed the nice house, peacefull garden and the lovely food, prepared by Hamadi.
